Today is one of those days that are worth remembering.
The blue sky is amazing. Only a few wispy clouds on the horizon.
There are a few stubborn red and gold leaves left on the trees in our yard.
They survived a fairly strong windstorm this morning. I'm impressed.
The air is cool and crisp. I walked to the mailbox in a t-shirt. In November.
The twins are coming in an hour to spend the evening with Roy and I.
Since they were here last, Halley learned to clap her hands. And Avery said, "Mama."
They have each gained a little weight and are both just over 13 pounds.
They've discovered each other and it is delightful to hear them giggle together.
I spent some time in the Word this morning. That in itself has made this day good.
Reading about the life of Abraham and the faith that he had in God is inspiring.
How many of us would really GO if God told us to leave everything, everyone and just
start walking, not telling us where or to what we were headed? We can learn from
Abraham's obedience and faith. I have much to learn. I am thankful for the journey.
And I am thankful for this beautiful November day.
