Welcome!

Welcome to my little corner of cyber-space. It may take me awhile to figure it all out, but hopefully someday this will be a great place to express my thoughts, share what the Lord is teaching me, and communicate with friends near and far.

I've set this up in time to be able to send some updates and journal my upcoming trip to Vicente Guerrero. You know, I love that place. I love the people there and I love the freedom of serving people and serving God there. This trip I am traveling with a group of students from NNU. It is going to be one great Spring break! We'll be picking up Deborah in Ensenada and she'll get to spend the entire time with us! I am so excited!

Some prayer requests as we prepare to go:

*finances (the Lord has always been so faithful...we are trusting Him.)
*language (that we would use our limited Spanish well...and not say anything too embarrassing.)
*ministry (Nani and Cheryl are organizing a great week of ministry...please pray for them.)
*travel (students flying from NNU, driving our van from home, travel in Mexico...)
*participants (Jenna, Kylie, Kristin, Charlene, Deborah, and Jenny...that God would speak into our lives and use this time away to draw us closer to Himself.)

I'm sure there are other requests. Please know that I appreciate your prayers so much!

Some needs that we still have:

*Spanish Bibles (I can order in bulk on-line for $83.88 for a case of 24, which is $3.49 each)
*Paper (reams of white paper) for the youth centers.
*Treats (preferably non-candy) for the kids at the camps.
